Best. Piña Colada. Ever.

The weather is warming up. Fact. When it gets warm, we get thirsty. Fact. Coconut is delicious. Fact. Coconut and booze.. Even better.  Super Fact.

Nothing says hello warm and sunny weather like a rich, creamy, coconut-y, ice cold, and heavy on the rum (in my opinion) Piña Colada! My husband calls these ‘foo foo drinks’ yet he certainly won’t turn one down pool side in Vegas or fresh from my blender.

I think I found the perfect mix y’all… No really… I did. It’s all about that blend… Bout that blend…ok I stop before someone punches me for getting that song stuck in their head… Again.  (I’m brining booty baaaaaccckk!! ) ok now I’m done.

The ingredients are key here… No skimping… And no it’s not ‘light’ …barf!!

Best. Piña Colada. Ever.

Fill your blender 1/2 way with ice

1/2 can of Coco Lopez Coconut Milk

1/4 cup pineapple chunks

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Malibu Rum- optional or to taste.

Blend ice, coconut milk and pineapple until nice and slushy.. Add in heavy cream, blend more.  Add in rum.

Now…. Go find a lawn chair and a kiddie pool..!!
